Co-founded by Nick Spector, Martìn and Abraham Othwell, Golden Record NYC started as an impulsive decision between friends to throw a warehouse party. Built from scratch with no roadmap, it evolved through a relentless—at times senseless—commitment to quality music and a DIY urge to create the kind of nights New York deserved — spaces where sound, people, and energy aligned naturally and lived up to the city’s own standard of excellence.
Over the years, Golden Record’s pop-ups and warehouse nights have drawn an audience as diverse as the music itself; house, techno, soulful, electro, minimal… In early 2025, after years of developing a permanent space, this ethos led to the opening of Signal — a high-fidelity club founded by Nick Spector, and initially shaped by the same energy that defined Golden Record — as well as 333, a private club that continues to hold Golden Record’s DIY torch to this day.
